IT FLIES UK 2019

Results and Prizes:-

First:- The University of Manchester, Ziad Amin and Delija Lekstutyte with their DZ light a three lifting surface, twin engine light jet, targeted at developing nations with mountainous terrain and short runways.

Second:- Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Daan de Kogel, a low cost regional aircraft with forward swept wings using a design from students at TU Delft.

Third:- Glyndwr University, Kevin Besinger and Manuel Apke with their ultralight fixed wing two seat aircraft.

The Most Innovative Design Prize:- The University of Swansea, Jordan Lewis, Chris Ritchie, Stephen Davies, Daniel Nelson, for their design of an extreme altitude mountain rescue rotorcraft.
Second:- The University of Manchester - James Orendi with his forward swept wing military jet trainer.

Prize for the Best Project Presentation:- The University of Dayton, Michael Mongin and Rachael Supina with their solar powered glider.

Prize for the Best UAV design:- Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, Dushanth Vigneswaran
