Two UK teams set to go to Dayton
Teams and individuals from both Swansea and Coventry universities have entered for IT FLIES USA in Dayton, Ohio, held in conjunction with the AIAA Student Regional Conference.
This will be a tremendous opportunity for the UK students, who will stay on campus with their American counterparts, and attend their lectures.
In an action packed weekend the students will have a tour of the wind tunnel facilities and engine test cells of the USAF Research Labs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and are invited to a dinner with a presentation by Dr. Paul Bevilaqua from Lockheed Martin, entitled 'Inventing the Joint Strike Fighter'.
